If you prefer a more adventurous option, after getting off the bus in Wellawaya, you can walk to Buduruwagala Rock Carvings. The distance is approximately 4 kilometers, and it will take you about 1 hour to walk. Head east from the bus station towards the A4 main road, and then follow the signs leading to Buduruwagala.
