Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the Nuwara Eliya Bus Station, which is located near the main market area. From the bus station, walk towards the A5 road. Once you reach A5, take a left turn and continue straight. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the B29 road. At this junction, look for signs or ask locals for directions to Upper Diyaluma. Continue on the B29 road for another 4 kilometers. You will see signs for Diyaluma Nature Camp on your left. Follow these signs, and the camp will be located off the road, surrounded by beautiful nature.

  • Public Transport

    Start at the Nuwara Eliya Bus Station. Take a local bus heading towards Badulla; these buses frequently depart from the station. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Upper Diyaluma or Diyaluma Nature Camp stop. Once you arrive, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer uphill following the signs to the camp. Look for local pathways and ask locals if you're uncertain about the route.
