Public Bus
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, walk to the Nuwara Eliya bus station located on Main Street. Look for buses heading towards either Bandarawela or Badulla. The bus fare should be around 30-50 LKR. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Upper Diyaluma area. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the stop, you will see a sign for Upper Diyaluma. Get off here.

Tuk-Tuk
After arriving at the Upper Diyaluma bus stop, you can hire a tuk-tuk for a more direct route to the Upper Diyaluma Trek Start. Negotiate the fare with the driver, which should be around 200-300 LKR. The tuk-tuk will take you closer to the trailhead in about 10-15 minutes, navigating through the scenic roads.

If you prefer to walk, from the bus stop, you can follow the road signs towards Upper Diyaluma. The trek start is approximately a 2 km walk uphill. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful views of the tea plantations and the surrounding hills. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water for the trek.
