Walking
If you are starting from the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade (Lungolago). Walk along the promenade heading towards the northwest until you reach the ferry terminal (Terminale dei battelli). From there, take a ferry to Como. The ferry ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Como ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight towards Via Maestri Comacini. The Cathedral of Como is located at Via Maestri Comacini, 6, just a short 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Follow the signs towards the cathedral, and you will see it on your left.

From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Ascona, Posta', which is located in the town center. Board the bus number 311 towards 'Lugano'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at 'Lugano, Stazione'. From there, transfer to a train heading towards Como. The train journey will take around 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Como, exit the train station and walk towards Via Maestri Comacini, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the street signs, and you will reach the Cathedral of Como at Via Maestri Comacini, 6.
