Walking
If you are in the Länggasse-Felsenau area, the easiest way to reach Schützenmatteplatz is by walking. Head southeast on Länggasse towards the Aare River. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Schützenmatte. Turn right onto Schützenmatte and walk for about 200 meters. Schützenmatteplatz will be on your left. This is a pleasant walk with picturesque views along the way.

You can also take tram number 9 from the nearest tram stop, which is Länggasse. Board the tram heading towards Gümmenen. Ride for two stops and get off at the stop called Schützenmatte.
