Getting There

• Walking

  From the Zermatt train station, exit onto Bahnhofstrasse, the main street. Walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the end. You'll see the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station on your left and the river on your right. Continue walking straight ahead until you see the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and continue on the path that leads to the forested area.

  After crossing the bridge, follow the path that leads towards the forest. Keep walking along the riverbank until you reach a signpost that points to the 'Rafting Center.' The trail will become more narrow and winding, but it will lead you closer to your destination.

• Walking

  Continue along the river and you will start to see signs for the Canoe and Rafting Center Monrosa. Follow these signs until you reach the center, which is located on the banks of the river. It should take approximately 30-40 minutes of walking from the train station to reach Canoe and Rafting Center Monrosa.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus from Zermatt town center to the nearest bus stop for the Canoe and Rafting Center. Check the local bus schedules for the most current routes and times, as they may vary. After getting off at the designated stop, follow the signs towards the rafting center, which should be a short walk away.
