Once you arrive at the Gornergrat station (Bahnhof Gornergrat), follow the signs to the chapel, which is a short walk (about 5 minutes) from the station. The total cost for this journey is around CHF 100 for a round trip.

If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can hike from Zermatt to Gornergrat. The hike takes about 2.5 to 3 hours depending on your pace and is approximately 8 km long. Follow the marked hiking trails from Zermatt towards Gornergrat. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water. Once you reach the Gornergrat station, the chapel is just a short walk away. Note that there are no additional costs for hiking, but you should be prepared for varying weather conditions.

Scenic Drive to Zermatt
If you are traveling by car, drive to Täsch, the nearest town with car access. From there, park in one of the parking lots and take a shuttle train to Zermatt, as Zermatt is a car-free village. The shuttle train ride takes about 12 minutes. Once in Zermatt, head to the train station and follow the instructions for the Train and Cogwheel Train option above to reach Gornergrat. Parking in Täsch costs around CHF 15 per day.
