If you're starting from Moshi town center, head towards Uhuru Park, which is about a 15-minute walk. From Uhuru Park, catch a local dala-dala (minibus) heading to Marangu. Make sure to tell the conductor you want to go to Kilimanjaro National Park. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach the park entrance, pay the entry fee and follow the signs towards Gilman's Point. It's a well-marked path, and you can ask park staff for directions if needed.

From the Moshi bus station, look for a dala-dala heading to Marangu. This is usually located at the main terminal. The fare is inexpensive, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. When you arrive at the Marangu gate of Kilimanjaro National Park, pay for your entry. From here, you can either hike to Gilman's Point or arrange a guided tour that includes transportation to the starting point of the hike.
