Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Stone Town, head towards the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), which is a well-known landmark. Once you reach the Old Fort, continue walking along the seafront, enjoying the view of the ocean. After about a 10-minute walk, you will come to the famous Forodhani Gardens. At the gardens, turn left and continue along the path. Follow the road as it curves and becomes Mkunazini Street. Keep walking for about 15 minutes until you see a sign for Kianga Dole. The Tangawizi Spice Farm is located in that area, and you should look for the entrance marked with their logo.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Stone Town. Start your journey from the main market (Darajani Market) and head towards the seafront. Cycle along the coast towards the Old Fort. As you reach the Old Fort, continue cycling along the water until you reach Forodhani Gardens. Once there, take the path that leads to Mkunazini Street and follow it for about 15 minutes until you see the sign for Kianga Dole. The Tangawizi Spice Farm will be nearby.
