  • Car

    If you are traveling by car from central Golden Triangle, head east on Route 1 (the main highway). After approximately 15 kilometers, turn left onto Route 1234 towards Chiang Rai. Continue for another 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for Rop Wiang Sub-district. Turn right onto Soi 9, and after about 1 kilometer, you will find Wat Phrathat Doi Khao Kwai on your left. Parking is available near the temple.

  • Public Transportation (Songthaew)

    From the Golden Triangle area, you can take a songthaew (shared taxi) heading to Chiang Rai. The fare is approximately 50-100 THB per person. Ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection for Rop Wiang (Soi 9). From there, it is about a 1-kilometer walk to Wat Phrathat Doi Khao Kwai, which is located on the left side of the road.
