Car
If you are driving, head towards Brampton from any direction. From Carlisle, take the A69 towards Newcastle. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit towards Brampton/A6071. Follow the A6071 for about 3 miles until you reach Brampton. Once in Brampton, follow the signs for Lanercost. The priory is located just a short drive from the town center, around 2 miles down the B6318 road. There is parking available at Lanercost Priory.

To reach Lanercost Priory via public transport, take a train to Carlisle Station. From Carlisle, catch the Number 685 bus towards Brampton. The bus will take you directly to Brampton. Once you arrive in Brampton, you can either walk or take a taxi to Lanercost Priory, which is about 2 miles away. The walk will take approximately 40 minutes, following the B6318 road south from the town center.
