If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit the station and head northwest on Market Street. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn right onto Cockburn Street. Walk up Cockburn Street until you reach the Royal Mile. Turn left onto the Royal Mile and walk until you reach North Bridge. Cross over North Bridge and continue onto South St David Street. After about 0.5 miles, take a left onto George Street. Continue on George Street until you reach Charlotte Square. The entrance to Charlotte Square Private Garden is on the west side of the square at 5A Charlotte Square.

From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 8, 29, or 36. These buses will take you to Charlotte Square. Get off at the 'Charlotte Square' stop. From there, walk to the west side of the square, and you will find the entrance to Charlotte Square Private Garden at 5A Charlotte Square.

If you are near the tram line, board a tram heading towards York Place. Get off at the 'West End - Princes Street' stop. From there, walk along Lothian Road towards the west, then take a right onto Charlotte Square. The entrance to the Charlotte Square Private Garden is located at 5A Charlotte Square, on the west side of the square.
