If you are starting from the city center (for example, from Princes Street), head west on Princes Street until you reach Lothian Road. Turn left onto Lothian Road and walk straight until you reach the junction with Bread Street. Continue straight onto Shandwick Place, and at the next junction, turn right onto West Approach Road. Follow this road until it merges with the A90. Keep walking until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Queen Street. From here, take a left onto West Coates Road. After a few blocks, take another left onto Dean Path, and you will see the entrance to Dean Cemetery on your right at 63 Dean Path, EH4 3AT.

From the city center, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 4, 10, or 27 towards 'South Gyle' or 'Dean Village'. After about 10-15 minutes, disembark at the stop named 'Dean Bridge'. From there, walk down the hill on Dean Path for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Dean Cemetery located at 63 Dean Path, EH4 3AT.
