Walking
If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Station, exit the station and head towards Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street and walk straight until you reach the North Bridge. Cross over the bridge, and you will see the entrance to Princes Street Gardens directly in front of you. The gardens are located on Princes Street, which runs parallel to the gardens.

From the city center, you can catch a bus to Princes Street. Look for Lothian Buses number 3, 5, 7, 8, 14, 30, or 33. Board the bus at any designated bus stop along George Street or Hanover Street. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Princes Street'. Once you disembark, the Princes Street Gardens will be just a short walk away, directly across the street.

You can take the Edinburgh Trams if you are near a tram stop. Board the tram heading towards York Place and disembark at the 'Princes Street' stop. After you get off, walk towards Princes Street, and you will find the entrance to Princes Street Gardens right there.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike hire stations around Edinburgh. Start at one of the bike stations, such as the one at St Andrew Square. Head west towards Princes Street, then follow the road along until you reach Princes Street. The gardens will be on your right side, and there are bike racks available for parking.
