Starting from the York Minster, exit the Minster grounds and head south on Minster Yard, then turn left onto Duncombe Place. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights. Cross over and continue onto Museum Street. Follow this street, which becomes St. Leonard's Place. At the end of St. Leonard's Place, turn right onto Blake Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A59 (also known as Lendal). Turn left onto Lendal and continue walking until you reach the next major intersection. Here, take a right onto Station Road. Follow Station Road until you reach the junction with Lead Mill Lane. Turn left onto Lead Mill Lane and walk for about 0.2 miles. Dick Turpin's grave will be located on your right at 6 Lead Mill Lane.

From the York train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located directly outside. Take the number 3 or 4 bus towards the city center (you can ask the driver if you're unsure of which bus to take). Get off the bus at the stop named 'Museum Gardens'. From there, exit the gardens and head towards Museum Street. Walk straight down Museum Street, which will lead you to St. Leonard's Place. At the end of St. Leonard's Place, turn right onto Blake Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A59 (Lendal). Turn left onto Lendal and follow the road until you see Station Road. Turn right onto Station Road, then take a left onto Lead Mill Lane. Walk for about 0.2 miles, and you will find Dick Turpin's grave on your right at 6 Lead Mill Lane.
