Car
If you are driving from downtown Rapid City, start by heading south on Main St toward E St Joseph St. Continue straight to stay on Main St. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto SD-44 W and continue for 5 miles. Then, turn right onto Cosmos Rd. The Cosmos Mystery Area will be on your left at 24040 Cosmos Rd. Look for the signs along the way.

To reach the Cosmos Mystery Area using public transport, first take the Rapid Transit System bus from downtown Rapid City to the nearest stop. You can board the bus at the main station on 6th St. It is advisable to check the current bus schedule for routes heading towards the Black Hills area, as they may vary. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop, you will need to either walk or arrange for a taxi to take you the remaining distance to 24040 Cosmos Rd, which is about a 15-minute drive from the bus station.
