Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the village of Hinterriß, which is located at Nr 4, 6215 Hinterriß. From Innsbruck, take the A12 motorway towards Kufstein, then exit at Zirl and follow the signs to the B177 road. Continue on the B177 until you reach the fork near Scharnitz, then take a right turn onto the B307 towards Hinterriß. Follow the road until you reach the Naturparkhaus, which will be on your left side. There is free parking available in front of the Naturparkhaus.

To reach Naturparkhaus Hinterriß using public transportation, take a train to the Scharnitz train station from Innsbruck. From Scharnitz, you can either walk (approximately 1 hour) or catch a regional bus towards Hinterriß. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance, as they may not run frequently. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop to Naturparkhaus, which is only a short walk away. Keep in mind that there may be a small fee for the bus fare, typically around €2-4 depending on the distance.
