If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Wachau, for example, from Dürnstein. Take B3 road heading south. Continue on B3 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Artstetten. Turn onto Schlosspl. and follow the signs for Schloss Artstetten, which is located at Schlosspl. 1, 3661 Artstetten. The drive should take approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
If you prefer public transportation, take a train from Krems an der Donau to the nearest station, which is in Amstetten. From Krems, the train journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amstetten station, transfer to Bus 49 toward Artstetten. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Artstetten Schloss' stop, which is a short walk to Schloss Artstetten located at Schlosspl. 1. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for the latest times as services may vary.
