From the bus station, the Naturpark is approximately 2km away, accessible by taxi or a 25-minute walk along Waidhofener Straße. Bus tickets from Vienna cost approximately €11-€26.

The ground here is rich in precious minerals and organic acids and has always been reputed to have a healing effect. The park also features a 30-meter long walkway that lets you go out safely onto the open moor for a closer look at this fascinating landscape. Beyond its natural and historical significance, the Naturpark Heidenreichsteiner Moor offers a range of recreational opportunities for visitors of all ages. A large nature playground with a double-cable car, swings, slides, balancing course, stilts course, sandpit, snack garden, labyrinth and 2 play hills awaits children. The park also offers guided hikes from May through September, providing in-depth knowledge of the moor's ecology and history. The Nature Park Centre offers information and services to visitors.
