Getting There

Walking
From the center of Espargos, head southwest on Rua 1 de Junho towards Avenida 5 de Julho. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1 de Maio. Turn left onto Avenida 1 de Maio and walk for about 15 minutes. You will pass local shops and cafes. After approximately 1.2 kilometers, you will reach a bus stop where you can catch a local 'aluguer' (shared taxi) heading towards Ponta Adiante. Board the aluguer and tell the driver you want to go to Praia da Atalanta.

Aluguer (Shared Taxi)
Once on the aluguer, it will take about 20 minutes to reach Ponta Adiante. The driver will drop you off near the entrance to Praia da Atalanta. From the drop-off point, walk straight toward the coast, following the signs for the beach. The beach is located just a short walk away, and you will be able to see the ocean as you approach.

Bicycle (If available)
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Espargos. Start from the center and head toward Avenida 1 de Maio, then follow the same route as the walking directions. Once you reach the aluguer drop-off point, park your bike and walk the remaining distance to Praia da Atalanta.
