    Boyden Cavern is located off Highway 180, 19 miles east of Grant Grove in Kings Canyon National Park. From Grant Grove, follow Highway 180 east towards Cedar Grove. The cavern is well-signed and has its own parking lot. Be aware that there is a National Park entrance fee to access the area. There is free parking at the cavern.

    From the parking lot, a short but steep paved trail leads to the entrance of Boyden Cavern. The walk takes approximately 5 minutes and gains about 125 feet in elevation. The trail offers scenic views of the Kings River.
