If you are starting from the Lodgepole Visitor Center, head east on the main trail towards the High Sierra Trailhead. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the junction that directs you towards the High Sierra Trailhead. The trailhead is located at the end of the route, where you will find a parking area and information signs.
