The parking area for the trailhead is located near the Camp 4 area. Note that parking can fill up quickly, especially during peak season, so arrive early. If you prefer public transportation, use the Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS). You can take the YARTS bus to Yosemite Valley. Once you arrive at the Yosemite Valley stop, walk towards the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center. From there, follow the directions for car travel to reach the Upper Yosemite Falls Trailhead.

If you are already in Yosemite Valley and prefer to walk, you can start at the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center. From the Visitor Center, walk along the paved path towards Northside Drive and follow the signs to Upper Yosemite Falls Trail. The trailhead is located near Camp 4. It is approximately a 1-mile walk from the Visitor Center to the trailhead.
