Getting There

Car

If you are traveling by car, start by entering Yosemite National Park through the Arch Rock Entrance. After entering the park, follow the signs for CA-41 N and continue for about 15 miles until you reach the junction with Wawona Road. Turn left onto Wawona Road and follow it for approximately 5 miles until you reach the junction with Tioga Road (CA-120). Turn right onto Tioga Road and follow it for about 13 miles until you see the signs for Tuolumne Meadows. Once in Tuolumne Meadows, look for Yosemite Lodge Drive; The Base of the Nose is located at 9006 Yosemite Lodge Dr. There is a parking area nearby for your convenience. Please note that there may be entrance fees for Yosemite National Park, which can range from $35 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, take the YARTS bus (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) which connects to the Yosemite National Park. You can catch the bus from various locations outside the park, including Mammoth Lakes or Merced. Make sure to check the YARTS schedule in advance, as it operates on a seasonal basis. Once you arrive at Tuolumne Meadows, disembark at the closest stop to Yosemite Lodge Drive. From there, it is a short walk to The Base of the Nose, which is located at 9006 Yosemite Lodge Dr. Please be aware of any bus fares that apply, which typically range from $2 to $5 depending on the route.
