Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere in Zealand, head towards Copenhagen. You can take the E20 or E4 motorways. Follow the signs for København and exit at 'København V'. Once you are on H.C. Andersens Boulevard, turn onto Pilestræde and continue straight onto Stormgade. The Museum of Copenhagen is located at Stormgade 18. There is limited street parking available, and you may need to pay for parking via a parking meter or app.

• Train

  If you prefer public transportation, take a train from your location in Zealand to Copenhagen Central Station (København H). Trains run frequently, and the journey may take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Copenhagen Central Station, exit the station and walk towards Vesterbrogade. From there, you can either walk (approximately 15-20 minutes) or catch a bus (Bus 1A or 26) to 'Stormgade'. The Museum of Copenhagen is located at Stormgade 18.

• Metro

  You can also take the Metro to reach the Museum of Copenhagen. If you are near a Metro station, take the M3 line towards 'København H'. Get off at the 'København H' station, then follow the same directions as above from the Central Station. The Metro service is frequent and a great way to avoid traffic.

• Bus

  For those traveling by bus, you can check for local routes that head towards Copenhagen. Buses such as 5A, 350S, or 33 have stops close to the museum. If you are already in Copenhagen, you can take Bus 1A or 26 directly to 'Stormgade'. The bus journey will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
