It's approximately a 35-minute walk from the Porte de l'Oulle in Avignon to La Chartreuse. Follow the Rhône river and cross the bridge (Pont Daladier) into Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Continue straight, following signs for La Chartreuse. This is a scenic route, offering views of the river and the surrounding area.

From Avignon, cross the Pont Daladier into Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. At the roundabout, follow signs for Villeneuve Centre, driving around Fort Saint-André. Continue to the traffic lights, where you'll find the Chartreuse car park (Parking 3) on your left. Parking is free. Note that parking may be limited, especially during peak season.
