Walking
From the center of Castel, start at the Castel Church. Head east on Rue des Landes until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto La Rue de la Lande. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles. You'll pass several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the sign for Les Houards Forest on your right. Follow the path into the forest, and the German Occupation Museum will be approximately a 10-minute walk from the main road.
