From Fukuoka city center, head to Tenjin Station (地下鉄天神駅). Take the Kuko Line (空港線) towards Fukuoka Airport. Transfer at Hakata Station (博多駅) to the Nishitetsu Dazaifu Line (西鉄大牟田線). Board the train bound for Dazaifu (大宰府行き). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dazaifu Station (大宰府駅), exit the station and follow the signs towards Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. It’s a pleasant 15-minute walk from the station. Just head straight along the main road, and you will see the shrine ahead.
