Subway
From Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Nakasu-Kawabata. Get off at Tenjin Station (2 stops). Transfer to the Nishitetsu Line at Tenjin Station and take the train towards Fukuoka (Kyuushuu) until you reach Hakozaki Station. Upon exiting Hakozaki Station, take the east exit and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Hakozakigu Shrine located at 1 Chome-22-1 Hakozaki, Higashi Ward.

From Hakata Station, head to the bus terminal and take the Nishitetsu bus number 1 or 2 heading towards Hakozaki. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Hakozakigu-mae bus stop. From there, the shrine is just a short 5-minute walk. Follow the signboards to Hakozakigu Shrine at 1 Chome-22-1 Hakozaki, Higashi Ward.

If you're staying closer to the city center, you can walk to Hakozakigu Shrine. Start at Tenjin Station and head east along the main road. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach Hakozaki. The shrine is located at 1 Chome-22-1 Hakozaki, Higashi Ward. Look for the large torii gate which marks the entrance to the shrine.
