From Tenjin, take the subway to Hakata Station. Then, walk to the Hakata Port International Terminal, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Look for signs directing you to the ferry terminal. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the Nokonoshima Island Ferry. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes, and you will arrive directly at Nokonoshima Island.

From Tenjin, take the Nishitetsu bus bound for Meinohama (No. 1 or No. 2). The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at Meinohama Station, which is the last stop. From there, walk to the Meinohama Ferry Terminal (approximately a 5-minute walk). Purchase a ticket for the Nokonoshima Island Ferry, which will take you to the island in about 10 minutes.

You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Fukuoka directly to the Hakata Port International Terminal or Meinohama Ferry Terminal. Inform the driver of your destination.
