Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Hakone Yumoto Station. Take the Hakone-Yumoto Road (Route 1) towards Motohakone. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers. Follow the signs to Motohakone, and you will see signs for Kamiyama Mountain Climbing Course. There is parking available at the base of the climbing course, but be aware that it may incur a fee (around 500 yen for a few hours).

Public Transportation (Train + Bus)
Start at Hakone Yumoto Station. Take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Gora Station (approximately 25 minutes). Transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car to Sounzan Station (about 10 minutes). From Sounzan Station, take the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani Station. At Owakudani, catch the bus to Motohakone, which will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Motohakone, follow the signs to the Kamiyama Mountain Climbing Course. Ensure to check the bus schedule as it may vary, and prepare for a small fare (around 300 yen).
