If you are driving to Komagatake Ropeway Top Station, take the National Route 1 towards Hakone. Follow the signs for Hakone and then take the exit towards Lake Ashi (Ashi-ko). After entering the area, look for signs directing you to the Komagatake Ropeway. You will need to park at the designated parking area near the ropeway base station. Be aware that parking fees may apply, so have some cash ready.

Public Transportation - Train
From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Railway train towards Gora Station. At Gora Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and ride it to Sounzan Station. From Sounzan Station, board the Komagatake Ropeway which will take you directly to the Komagatake Ropeway Top Station. Make sure to check the train and cable car schedules ahead of time to minimize wait time.

From Hakone-Yumoto Station, you can also take a bus towards Togendai. At Togendai, you will find the pier for the pirate ship that crosses Lake Ashi. Take the ship to Hakone-Machi or Motohakone.
