    If you're driving, head towards Motohakone on Route 1. Once in Motohakone, look for signs directing you to the Hakone Visitor Center. The center is located at 164 Motohakone, which is just off the main road. There is limited parking available near the center, so plan accordingly.

    From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Bus. Look for the bus bound for 'Motohakone' or 'Hakone Machi.' The journey takes around 40 minutes. Disembark at the 'Motohakone' stop. The Hakone Visitor Center is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the road towards the lake, and you will see the center on your left.

  • Public Transportation - Train and Bus

    Take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Gora Station. From Gora, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car to Sounzan Station. From Sounzan, take the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani.
