Getting There

Car
If you are driving from central Hakone, take Route 1 (also known as the Odawara-Atsugi Road). Follow the signs towards Kamakura. Once you reach Kamakura, look for the exit towards National Route 134. Continue on Route 134 until you see the signs for Sanzagaike Pond. Upon reaching the pond, there is limited parking available nearby. Be aware that parking fees may apply, so have some cash on hand.

Public Transportation
Start at Hakone-Yumoto Station and take the Odakyu Line train towards Odawara. Transfer at Odawara Station to the JR Tokaido Line and head towards Kamakura. Once you arrive at Kamakura Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop for the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu bus. Take bus number 20 heading towards Sanzagaike. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Sanzagaike bus stop. From there, it is a short walk to the pond. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as the frequency may vary.
