If you are driving from Hakone, take Route 1 (National Route 1) heading east towards Kamakura. After approximately 30 minutes, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Kamakura. You will want to exit onto Route 204, which leads you to the city center. Continue following the signs to Rokkokukenzan Forest Park. There is parking available at the park, but be aware that it may incur a small fee.

Public Transportation (Train)
To reach Rokkokukenzan Forest Park using public transportation, start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. From Odawara, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line and head towards Kamakura Station. The whole journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 1,500 yen. Once you arrive at Kamakura Station, you can take a bus (the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu Bus) bound for the park, which will take approximately 15 minutes. The bus fare is around 200 yen.

An alternative public transport option is to take a direct bus from Hakone’s Togendai Station to Kamakura Station. This journey takes about 50 minutes, and the bus fare is approximately 1,000 yen. Once you arrive at Kamakura Station, transfer to the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu Bus heading to Rokkokukenzan Forest Park. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes and costs around 200 yen.
