If you're driving to Sakurabashi Bridge, start by heading towards Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway). Depending on your starting location in Hitachi, navigate towards the expressway entrance. Once on Route 6, follow the signs for Tokyo until you reach the exit for Mukojima. After exiting, follow the local roads towards Mukojima, and use your GPS or a map app to find the bridge at 5 Chome-1-1 Mukojima, Sumida City. There is typically street parking available nearby, but be aware of local parking regulations.

For those using public transportation, take the JR Joban Line from Hitachi Station to Ueno Station. The journey takes about 1 hour. From Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and ride to Asakusa Station. At Asakusa, switch to the Toei Asakusa Line and travel to Oshiage Station. From Oshiage Station, you can either walk or take a taxi to Sakurabashi Bridge, which is about a 15-minute walk (approximately 1.2 km). Make sure to have some yen on hand for ticket purchases, as the train fare will be around 1,000 yen.

Alternatively, you can take a highway bus from Hitachi to Tokyo. Check the schedule for the Hitachi - Tokyo route. Once you arrive at a major terminal like Tokyo Station, you can transfer to the JR Sobu Line to get to Kinshicho Station. From Kinshicho Station, it is a 20-minute walk to Sakurabashi Bridge. Ensure you have enough change for the bus fare, which may vary between 1,500 and 2,000 yen.
