Car
If you are driving from Kai, take the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) towards Tokyo. After about 90 kilometers, take the exit toward the Shinjuku area. Follow the signs for Route 20 and then merge onto the Shuto Expressway (首都高速道路). Continue until you reach the Exit for Asakusa. Once you exit, follow the local roads to 7 Chome-1-12 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032. There may be parking available nearby, but check for local parking regulations and fees.

Train
To reach Taro's Origami Studio via public transportation, start by heading to the nearest train station in Kai, which is either Kai-Yamato Station (甲府山梨駅) or another local station. Take the JR Chuo Main Line (中央本線) towards Tokyo. Change trains at Shinjuku Station (新宿駅) and transfer to the Toei Subway Oedo Line (都営大江戸線) towards Roppongi (六本木). Get off at Kuramae Station (蔵前駅). From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Taro's Origami Studio. The total train fare may range from 1,500 to 2,000 yen depending on your starting station. Be sure to check train schedules ahead of time.

If you prefer to take a bus from Kai to Tokyo, check for highway buses that operate between Kai and Tokyo. Once you arrive at a central bus terminal in Tokyo, such as Shinjuku or Tokyo Station, you can take the Toei Subway or local buses to Asakusa. If you arrive at Shinjuku, transfer to the Toei Oedo Line as previously described. Bus fares typically range from 2,000 to 3,000 yen, depending on the service.
