If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Hitachi City Center. From there, take the Joban Expressway towards Tokyo. After approximately 100 km, take the exit for Ueno. Follow signs for Route 4 (Kita-Senju) towards Taito City. Continue on Route 4 until you reach the intersection with Hanakawado Street. Turn left onto Hanakawado Street, and you will find Tato City Sumida Park at 1 Chome Hanakawado, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0033. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee.

For those using public transportation, head to Hitachi Station. From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line to Ueno Station. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and ride to Asakusa Station. Here, transfer to the Toei Asakusa Line and continue to Oshiage Station. Finally, take a short 10-minute walk to Tato City Sumida Park located at 1 Chome Hanakawado. Be prepared for a total travel time of approximately 2 hours. Train fares will vary, but expect to pay around 2,500 yen for the whole journey.

Alternatively, you can take a highway bus from Hitachi to Tokyo. Look for buses departing from Hitachi Station. The bus ride can take about 2-2.5 hours. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, switch to the JR Yamanote Line and travel to Ueno Station. From Ueno, follow the same route as the train option by taking the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Asakusa and then the Toei Asakusa Line to Oshiage Station.
