Car
If you're driving from central Hitachi, head south on Route 6 (National Route 6) towards Mito. Continue on Route 6 for about 35 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 50. Take the exit for Route 50 and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. Follow signs for the Joban Expressway (E6) and merge onto the expressway. After about 50 kilometers, take the exit toward the Shuto Expressway (C1) toward Ueno. Continue onto the Shuto Expressway, then take the exit for Kameido. After exiting, follow signs for Sumida Park. The park is located at 1 Chome-3 Mukojima, Sumida City, Tokyo. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around 300-500 yen per hour.

Public Transportation - Train
To reach Sumida Park Breeze Plaza via public transportation, start by getting to Hitachi Station. From Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line (Local) heading to Toride. After about 30 minutes, transfer at Toride Station to the Tsukuba Express Line. Take the Tsukuba Express toward Akihabara and ride for approximately 45 minutes. Get off at Asakusa Station. From Asakusa Station, transfer to the Toei Asakusa Line and take the train towards Nishi-Magome for two stops. Get off at Oshiage Station. From Oshiage Station, it’s a 15-minute walk to Sumida Park. Make sure to check train schedules as they may vary, and a one-way ticket will cost around 1,200 yen.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Hitachi Station, you can also take a direct bus to Sumida Park. Look for the bus service operated by Ibaraki Kotsu. Board the bus heading to Tokyo Station, which takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Sobu Line (Rapid) and head towards Chiba. Get off at Ryogoku Station. From Ryogoku Station, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Sumida Park Breeze Plaza. The total bus fare is approximately 1,500 yen.
