Getting There

    If you are driving, start from the center of Iki City and head towards the ferry terminal. Follow the signs for the Iki Ferry to get to the mainland. Once you are on the mainland, take Route 202 towards Itoshima. Continue on this route for approximately 30 km. You will see signs for Genkai Quasi-National Park. Turn left onto the road leading to the park entrance at 675 Shimakeya, Itoshima. Parking is available at the park entrance.

  • Public Transportation (Bus and Ferry)

    To reach Genkai Quasi-National Park using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Iki City to the ferry terminal. The bus fare is approximately 200 JPY. Once at the ferry terminal, take the Iki Ferry to the mainland (Itoshima). The ferry ride takes about 40 minutes and costs around 1,800 JPY for a one-way ticket. After disembarking, walk to the nearest bus stop and take a bus heading towards Itoshima. Get off at the bus stop for 'Shimakeya', which is the closest stop to the park entrance. From there, it is a short walk (about 10 minutes) to Genkai Quasi-National Park.
