From central Izu, take Route 135 towards Atami. Continue on Route 135 until you reach the intersection with Route 1, where you will turn left onto Route 1. Follow Route 1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the ferry terminal at the port of Ito. Here, you will need to catch a ferry to Oshima Island. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour, and tickets can be purchased at the terminal. Once you arrive at Oshima, drive or take a taxi to Mount Mihara, located in Nomashi, which is about 20 minutes away from the ferry terminal.

Begin your journey at Izu's main train station, Izu-Atagawa Station. Take the train to Ito Station on the Izu Kyuko Line. From Ito Station, make your way to the nearby ferry terminal to board a ferry to Oshima Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Oshima, take a local bus or taxi to Mount Mihara in Nomashi, which is about a 20-minute ride from the ferry terminal.
