From Kagoshima city center, head south on Route 3 towards Sakurajima. Follow the signs for Sakurajima Ferry Terminal. The drive takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you reach the ferry terminal, park your vehicle in the designated parking area. The ferry ride to Sakurajima takes around 15 minutes and costs approximately 200 yen for pedestrians and 500 yen for vehicles. Upon arrival at Sakurajima, follow the signs to Magma Onsen, which is located at 1722-16 Sakurajimayokoyamacho, about a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal.
