Once you reach the ferry terminal, park your vehicle in the designated parking area. The ferry ride to Sakurajima takes around 15 minutes and costs approximately 200 yen for pedestrians and 500 yen for vehicles. Upon arrival at Sakurajima, follow the signs to Magma Onsen, which is located at 1722-16 Sakurajimayokoyamacho, about a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal.

    From Kagoshima Chuo Station, take a bus or tram to Kagoshima Ferry Terminal. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes and costs around 200 yen. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Sakurajima; the fare is approximately 200 yen for pedestrians. After a 15-minute ferry ride, disembark at Sakurajima. From the Sakurajima ferry terminal, you can take a local bus (Sakurajima Island Community Bus) that goes to various spots on the island, including a stop near Magma Onsen. The bus fare is around 300 yen. Disembark at the nearest stop to Magma Onsen and walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the hot spring.
