You will need to take the ferry to Sakurajima Island, which costs around 1,240 yen one way for a standard vehicle. Once on Sakurajima, continue on Route 216 and follow the signs for Tsukiyomi Shrine. The shrine is located at 〒891-1419 Kagoshima, Sakurajimayokoyamacho, 1722−8.

  • Public Transportation - Bus and Ferry

    Begin your journey at Kagoshima Chuo Station. Take the bus to Sakurajima Ferry Terminal, which costs approximately 250 yen.
