If you are driving, start from downtown Kagoshima. Enter Route 3 (Kagoshima Bay Route) heading towards Sakurajima. Follow the signs for Sakurajima Ferry Terminal. Upon reaching the terminal, you will need to take the ferry to Sakurajima Island, which takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately 200 yen per person. Once you arrive on Sakurajima, continue along the main road (Route 58) for around 5 km. You will see the signs for Sakurajima Volcanic Shore Park. The park has a designated parking area.

Public Transportation
To reach Sakurajima Volcanic Shore Park and Footbath using public transportation, begin your journey at Kagoshima Chuo Station. From there, take a local bus (route 1 or 2) to the Sakurajima Ferry Terminal. The bus ride costs around 200 yen and takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at the ferry terminal, board the ferry to Sakurajima Island for about 200 yen.
