From Koshi, take Route 57 heading towards Aso. Follow the signs for Aso and continue on Route 57 for approximately 25 kilometers. As you approach Aso, look for signs directing you to Daikanbo. Turn right onto the road leading to Daikanbo and continue for another 5 kilometers. You will find parking available at the viewpoint.

From Koshi Station, take the JR Hohi Main Line train towards Kumamoto and get off at Aso Station (approximately 30 minutes). Once at Aso Station, you can take a local bus (Aso City Bus) to Daikanbo.
