From Yufuin, head south on Route 210. After approximately 18 km, take the exit towards Route 57 to Aso. Continue on Route 57 for about 15 km until you reach the Aso Skyline entrance. There are no tolls on Route 210 or Route 57.

From Yufuin Station, take the JR Kyushu Limited Express train towards Kumamoto. Disembark at Aso Station, which takes about 40 minutes. From Aso Station, you can take a local bus (Aso Bus) to the Aso Skyline entrance. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around 600 yen.

You can also take a bus directly from Yufuin to Aso. The Yufuin Kanko Bus operates a service to Aso Station, which takes about 45 minutes and costs around 1,500 yen. Once at Aso Station, continue with the local bus to the Aso Skyline.
