Getting There

• Car

This route will take you through scenic countryside views. Once you reach Komatsucho, look for parking areas nearby the shrine, as parking may be limited. Be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around 300-600 yen per hour.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the Kyoto City Bus from your location to Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, transfer to Bus 206 towards 'Kiyomizu-dera'. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes, then get off at 'Kiyomizu-michi' stop. From there, it’s a 10-15 minute walk. Simply follow the signs for Kyoto Ebisu Shrine, which is located at 〒605-0811 Kyoto, Higashiyama Ward, Komatsucho, 125. The bus fare will cost around 230 yen one way.
