If you are driving from the outskirts of Kyoto countryside, take Route 367 towards Sakyo Ward. Follow the signs for 'Kyoto City' and merge onto Route 1 towards Sakyo Ward. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the intersection near Shogoin Entomicho. Turn left onto Shogoin Entomicho, and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. The Kyoto Handicraft Center will be on your left at 17 Shogoin Entomicho. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for a small fee (around 500 yen for a few hours).

Public Transportation - Bus
From the nearest bus station in the countryside, take the Kyoto City Bus No. 203, which heads towards 'Higashiyama'. After about 30 minutes, alight at the 'Shogoin' bus stop. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes along Shogoin Entomicho. The Kyoto Handicraft Center will be on your right at number 17. A one-way bus ticket costs around 230 yen.
