    If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line (subway) towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Marutamachi Station (approximately 10 minutes). From Marutamachi Station, exit and walk east towards the Kyoto Imperial Palace. Continue walking straight, passing through the palace grounds, until you reach the intersection with Okazaki Saishojicho Street. Turn left and walk for about 10 minutes; you will see the Hosomi Museum on your right at 6-3 Okazaki Saishojicho.

Get off at the Okazaki Park/Kyoto City Zoo stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes towards the east on Okazaki Saishojicho Street, and you will arrive at the Hosomi Museum.
