Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Uji city. Head southeast on Route 1 (National Route 1) towards Kyoto. Follow the signs for Route 24. Once you reach the junction, take the exit towards Yamashiro. Continue on Route 24, and then take a left onto Hachikenyadani road. The park will be on your right side after a few minutes. There is ample parking available at the site, and parking fees are generally free.

Public Transportation
To reach Kyoto Prefectural Yamashiro Sports Park using public transportation, take the Kintetsu Kyoto Line from Kyoto Station to Uji Station. This journey takes about 30 minutes. From Uji Station, transfer to the bus service bound for Hachikenyadani. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Hachikenyadani stop. From there, the park is a short 10-minute walk. Ensure to check the bus schedule as services may vary, and a one-way bus ticket costs around 230 yen.

Bicycle
For those interested in cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a rental shop in Uji. Head towards the Yamashiro area, following the riverside paths for a scenic ride. The distance is approximately 6 kilometers from Uji Station to the park, which should take around 25-30 minutes by bicycle. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules. There are bicycle parking facilities available at the park.
